TaskscapesGet to know Taskscapes.
The practical details behind a more personal desktop.
Is Taskscapes just a wallpaper generator?
It brings wallpapers, coordinated desktop icons, and reusable visual styles together. You choose which supported desktop items to change.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed for ordinary local desktop use.
Are AI generation costs included?
The current app uses your own OpenAI or Google API credentials. Your selected provider may charge for generation separately.
Does it need to keep running?
After applying a Taskscape, Windows retains the wallpaper and icons. The app does not need to run in the background.
Can I return to my old desktop?
Taskscapes records the original supported desktop settings before changing them. Restore preserves conflicting changes made outside Taskscapes. Keep the app’s local recovery data.
Can I use my saved artwork offline?
Your existing local styles and saved artwork remain available offline. New AI generation requires a connection to your selected provider.
Which Windows versions are supported?
The app targets Windows. Exact Windows 10/11 compatibility and package requirements must be verified before the Store release.
Can I download a wallpaper from the gallery?
The gallery is a curated showcase. Create and save your own artwork in the Taskscapes app.
